I am pleased to announce the 2023 RCPS Annual Photographic Exhibition. It will be held at Allhallowgate
Methodist Hall in Ripon on Saturday the 2nd of September .
Doors open at 9:00 am and the Exhibition will close at 4:00pm.
We are looking forward to displaying our members’ finest images in both print and digital form which I am sure will impress all our visitors. As always, we endeavour to make the exhibition as varied and interesting as possible. Members of our society have a wide range of interests which will be reflected in the images on display. Subject matter will include landscape, wildlife, still life, portrait, action, monochrome and sport.
Following the success of the presentations in previous years, there will be 4, 30 minute talks during the day. Details will follow in due course.
You will also be able to sit and enjoy hot and cold drinks as well as delicious cakes and savouries at our café or whilst watching our slide show on a large high definition TV.
In recent years we have embraced smartphone photography and have several members who use these exclusively. There will be a ‘Smartphone Corner’ where we will have a display of images taken on smartphones and we will have members on hand to give advice on how to get the best from them.
Entry to the exhibition is free but we are happy to accept donations to help us put on these community-based
events.
