Annual Exhibition submission guidelines

Please take a moment to look through the following guidelines.  If you have any questions do ask a member of the Exhibition sub committee

  • Who can enter?
  • All RCPS members
  • All experience levels
  • Important dates
  • Entries open: Monday 20th July
  • Entries close: Friday 14th August
  • Late entries will not be accepted
  • Exhibition date: Saturday 29th August 9:00am – 4:00pm
  • How many entries?
  • Up to 6 prints
  • Up to 4 digital images (DPIs)
  • NB We may need to limit the number of images displayed so be aware we may be unable to use all your images.
  • Image requirements
  • No set categories
  • Members are encouraged to submit any of their images placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the Society’s recent competitions NB: These will be included in the total number of images members may submit.
  • Please do not submit images shown in previous exhibitions.
  • Print requirements
  • Mount size: 400mm x 500mm
  • Landscape or portrait
  • Any aspect ratio allowed for the aperture
  • Label back of mount with:
  • Name
  • Membership number
  • Image title
  • Orientation (top marked clearly)
  • A JPG copy of each print must also be provided (see DPI requirements below)
  • DPI requirements
  • Max size: 1600px wide x 1200px high
  • JPG format only
  • Max file size 2MB
  • Filename format: Image Title Membership Number
  • eg The Sunset 03/25.jpg
  • How to submit images
  • Complete the online form (in the RCPS members area)
  • Upload digital images (DPIs) and JPG reference copies of prints using the correct link in the RCPS members area.
  • Deliver mounted prints to Stuart Jackson, Bill Swan, David Uffindall, or bring them to the Thursday coffee morning at Claro Lounge by Friday 14th August at the latest.
  • Selling your work
  • Images can be sold
  • State selling price in online form
  • RCPS receives 20% commission
